So the other way I watched the Magic School Bus- remember that show? I was obsessed with it when I was a kid- probably because I love that Science stuff!! Anyways, the reason I’m bringing it up is because of its philosophy- “Take Chances, Make Mistakes, Get Messy!” Too often in university we’re burdened with classes, clubs, and responsibilities that end up stressing us out…and we don’t take the time to relax and do what WE want to do. However, with summer fast approaching and the spring semester already completed, I highly recommend making a list of fun things you want to do in the summer and going out and doing them…maybe you want to go skidiving, maybe learn to play a new musical instrument…maybe bike to Mexico?!?

Anyways, BLaH is organizing several events in the summer, so do keep a look out. Some of the things that might peak your interest are the Beautiful BC Trail Series, the Kickball tournament, and the trip to the island to rent mopeds. Or maybe you want to do something else and we can help you put it together. Whatever it is, let go of academia for a while and try something new! beep beep!
