My First Ever Blog Post!
Yay. I survived a very long and tiring day. 9:30 – 9:30 is not fun for anyone. But, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do right? I was hoping that I would be able to get to bed before 12:00am tonight but I don’t think that’s going to happen as its already eight minutes past the hour. Oh well… I’m going to make it a goal this semester to prioritize my time so that I don’t have to cram the night before an exam or a paper is due. Furthermore, I want to be able to be in the habit of getting at least eight hours of sleep every night.
Sleep is really important to our overall well-being. Being well rested not only provides us with energy to power through our busy days, but also gives our muscles and body time to recover from workouts, relax from strains of the everyday hustle and bustle, it gives our minds time to process information from the events of the day and helps maintain a steady metabolic rate which may reduce the diabetes, heart disease and other health related issues. With more emphasis on rest, I can almost guarantee that you will not only see a spike in energy level, assertiveness and alertness, but also your agility and workout regimen. Proper sleeping patterns! It’s good in every way. =)
I’m off to get my share of shut eye.
Night night BLaHgers!
