BLAH General Meeting Sept 18th, 2008

1. Constitution Change

• Vote 11:1 Majority for the change

2. Biz Challenge

• Last week played volleyball
• Had 3 teams in total play
• Next week will depend on the weather
• Yushadha is interested in writing a blog for the first game
• Kevin’s basketball team lacking 1 player – contact – kky@sfu.ca

3. Trail Mix

• Next hike (Thursday) will be a light walk on campus, should be less than an hour
• Meet in the Biz lounge at 3:30PM

5. 60 Days of Sustainability

• Starts October 1st
• Need one more volunteer

6. BMP (Business Mentorship Program) Sports Night

• Date to be determined, should be late October
• Involves renting a gym and playing a random game
• Need to co-ordinate the sign up and promotion, and rent the gym

8. Proposal from HCCC

• HCCC also focuses on healthy living
• They do trails with us, so we can do cross promotion
• Kenneth send Yushadha – HCCC contact

9. Elections

• This Thursday at the meeting will be the bi-election
• Position of Director of Development available
• If you would like to run for this position, please e-mail BLaH no later than Wednesday at 11:59 pm

10. BLaH Social

• Trying to find the best day for everyone
• Kevin will send out an availability document
• Most likely to be mid-October
