MARKETERS' NIGHT 2010

Simon Fraser University Student Marketing Association (SMA) proudly invites you to their 21st Annual Marketers' Night!

Now in its twenty first consecutive year, Marketers' Night is SMA's largest and most anticipated event of the year. This tremendously successful event has provided the opportunity for members of the BC business community and marketing students to meet and interact in an informal environment. It allows the marketers of today to meet with the marketers of tomorrow.

We encourage you to attend this fantastic evening, which has become one of the biggest annual student-run events in the Lower Mainland.

Marketers’ Night is a great networking event. It provides students and industry professionals with the opportunity to meet face to face at a fun and informational evening that will explore creative marketing practices where the focus is on creative visions and campaigns that help create brand awareness and increase brand leverage.

This is a great opportunity to:

  • Expand your network: develop new relationships with marketing students and professionals in a relaxed environment.
  • Learn from industry leaders: find out about the careers and latest trends in sports marketing from industry professionals.
  • Food and entertainment: enjoy the company of over 250 people at the elegant Library Square’s Alice Mackay Room. There will be appetizers, drinks and great music throughout the night!
Beyond the Game

This year's theme revolves around sports marketing. Sports marketing brings together a number of considerations including lifestyles, entertainment, customer experiences, sponsorships and more. While one might think of sports marketing as boosting ticket sales, promoting sports, or finding sponsors, sports has the ability to transcend those realms and create an experience that shapes one’s identity and memory.
