Richard  is the Founder and Editor of VancouverFoodster.com a blog that he founded in July 2009. He has been writing about food since 1993 when he was Co-Author of the book, Vancouver’s Best Espresso Spots. In 1994, he was the Co-Author of the book - Oregon`s Hot Java - and in 2001 was Co-Author of the book, Cafes Vancouver. In 2001, he was and Founder and Publisher of TheCafeGuide.com a website devoted to café culture around the globe.  He has written articles for newspapers and online and has been featured in many magazines, newspapers, radio and television in regards to food, wine and specialty coffee. In September 2009, he was the Founder and Editor of Taste and Sip Magazine and in May 2011 was founder of the Sip & Taste feature on the Just Here for the Beer Radio Show on AM 650.

 

He has almost 20 years of experience in marketing, branding and consulting, having run a promotional branding agency specializing in custom branded promotional products. In addition to his online magazines he currently runs promotional products agency, SwagPeople.com as well as marketing and social media agency, ChatMediaInc.com. In his spare time he enjoys dining out, listening to music, seeing films, taking in a play, walking and traveling.
